Wolfson sent a men’s eight to the Coronation 60th Anniversary Regatta at Windsor Castle. This special one-off regatta was held in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen. And Wolfson represented in kind, sending a special one-off summer regatta crew to enter the Windsor, Slough & Eton Challenge Cup for college eights.
The crew put on a good show, maintaining rate 40 for about half the length of the 1000m course, but ultimately fell to an Oriel college crew who were evidently taking this far too seriously.
Well done to the crew and I’m sure there will be many more summer adventures to come!
