Wolfson College Boat Club has a rich history of rowing excellence at the University of Oxford. We are passionate about the sport and dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for rowers of all levels. Our club is a great place for you to embark on a new adventure and be a part of our incredible legacy.

Give it up for our President 2024/2025! 🤠

Ben has previously been the captain of the men’s team, and this year stepped up to become the boat club president.

Red flag: still doesn’t know how to row the single full slide.

Iconic rowing moment: getting distracted looking at cows while bankriding and turning around to discover the 4 had capsized. 🫣

Can typically be found: hitting snooze on the alarm 3 times too many then cycling furiously to the boathouse.

Mads:
I’m Mads, one of the Men’s captains, and I joined rowing because clearly Kayaking doesn’t work for me. You can usually find me somewhere near any body of water having a bit of fun.

Galen:
May also be found on the water rowing as a wolf (like for last year’s Summer 8s). Yeah Wolfson. 🐺

Grant:
Grant on the other hand prefers the duck-look on the water. Don’t take it personal if text messages remain unanswered, try calling him instead!

Alison is known as the boathouse Angel. She brightens up the boathouse with her kind energy.

Memorable rowing moment (and least favourite drill 🫶): accidentally bow rigging a pair and realizing minutes before a race feat. speed rerigging on the raft.

Zoe is bringing the fun to every outing. Come find her if you fancy a laugh.

Memorable rowing moment: famously will lick boats for money (or guinness) but is equally happy getting a taste of the isis by capsizing the double.

Olivia has been in this role for half a year already. Find her for German pragmatism.

Memorable rowing moment: most definitely Alison’s facial expression when realizing that the boat was rigged the wrong way round after putting it on the water for a race. Chaos pair.🤪

🥇Royal indeed🥇Recap of Wolfson at City Royal Regatta:
Having entered almost every available boat category, the Wolves truly arrived as a pack. Some celebrated their very first rowing regatta ever, others crossed the pond to rejoin old friends. Coxing and single debuts (ft interestingly wet racing strategies) were spotted, as were powerful sprints, a strong Wolfson-Wolfson final, and the most immaculate race faces.
